A few weeks ago, we reported that Modern Warfare 2 could be on the way to the Wii. While this has remained a rumour since, we can today reveal that the original Modern Warfare is heading to the Wii this November.

Activision have confirmed that Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be released on Wii to coincide with the release of Modern Warfare 2 on the other home consoles. The game is being developed by Treyarch, and while details are thin at the moment, we are expecting a complete port of the game, and hopefully a decent online mode.

We would like to stress that no official EU release has been announced yet. The game is confirmed for US release on November 10th, and we are expecting a similar EU release based on the nature of the press release. We will keep you up to date on this as we get news!
