Rumours are spreading fast that the Wii is about to be replaced, and that 2010 is the year we will get a glimpse of the new system. Well today Reggie has squashed some of the rumours, at least until March.

Reggie said "We are confident the Wii home entertainment console has a very long life in front of it" and went on to state that no new hardware would be shown at this March's Game Developers Conference.

However, he would not elaborate on any E3 announcements, so could this be an indication of things to come?
