The newest and most elusive Sonic game begins it's countdown

SEGA have today begin the process towards the revealing of their newest and most elusive Sonic game to date - Project Needlemouse.

The game is only known to be in 2D, and has only seen the light of day in a trailer, which gave away nothing. Today, SEGA posted the following image in their blog.

SEGA promise that every day a character will be removed until only playable characters in the newest Sonic game are left. They are also asking trivia questions, which if answered correctly by enough people, will remove more characters. Head over to the SEGA site to help out!

It's interesting that Shade is on here, maybe this is a prequel to The Dark Brotherhood? Also, hoping Chip disappears soon...
